Summary: The Event Coordinator role at Carpenters Dialogue Express Café involves designing, planning, and delivering an inclusive events programme that reflects the café's ethos of diversity and communication. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a vibrant and inclusive events programme (e.g., movie nights, live music events, special food tasting events, workshops, talks, performances, community socials).
- Coordinate with local artists, schools, organisations, educators, and community leaders to co-create events.
- Manage logistics including scheduling, set-up, bookings, and necessary permissions.
- Promote events in collaboration with our marketing team (social media, flyers, newsletters).
- Ensure events are accessible and align with our values of inclusivity and deaf awareness.
- Gather feedback and contribute to post-event evaluations and reports.

Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Event Coordinator to design, plan, and deliver an exciting event programme at Dialogue Express Café. You’ll work closely with deaf and hearing team members, local partners, creatives, and community groups to create a calendar of events that reflects the café’s ethos of inclusion, dialogue, and experience.
