Summary: The EUX/EUT Support Manager will lead a team of 2nd line engineers in a reputable financial services corporation, focusing on global end-user technologies. This role involves collaboration with various teams to enhance performance and drive the adoption of modern technologies such as Azure and Windows 11. The manager will oversee the end-user technology budget and ensure support targets are met while coaching direct reports. The position is hybrid, based in either Chatham or Wolverhampton, with a competitive day rate for a 6 to 12-month project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage workload and priorities for the End User Technology Team
- Automate, orchestrate, and integrate processes to simplify end user technology deployment
- Ensure End User Support targets are met or exceeded, with performance visibility through reporting and dashboards
- Manage the EUT budget, contribute to planning and reforecasting
- Collaborate with strategic partners to manage end user technology hardware and address performance issues
- Line manage and coach direct reports, handling performance, development, and recruitment
- Coordinate with third-party maintenance and support providers
- Maintain End User Support documentation and IT hardware/software asset register
Key Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating System
- Experience leading a team responsible for end user technology
- Good knowledge of End User Computing/Mobile Device Management/Collaboration Tools and Meeting Room technologies
- Basic knowledge of Enterprise Technologies
- Good knowledge of ITIL basics and principles
- Experience with End User Technologies such as Azure, Azure AD, SharePoint, and Intune (nice to have)
