EUC Technical Lead (DV Cleared)

Summary: The EUC Technical Lead role involves providing technical leadership for end-user technology solutions within a business in the South West of England. The position requires expertise in EUC technologies and a strong background in infrastructure leadership, with a preference for candidates holding active DV Clearance. The role emphasizes mentoring, technical excellence, and ensuring secure and effective technology solutions for users. This is a 6-month contract requiring on-site work four days a week in Taunton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, Microsoft 365, and associated EUC technologies.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical incidents and service requests.
  • Lead the evaluation, design, and implementation of new EUC technologies and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical standards, documentation, and best practices.
  • Mentor and support technical team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to deliver integrated, secure, and user focused solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Key Skills:

  • Strong technical expertise in End User Computing, including Windows, Microsoft 365, Intune, SCCM/MECM, networking, remote access, and file sharing technologies.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and directing the delivery of complex technical work.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with experience managing escalated incidents.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL principles, service management processes, and industry best practices.
  • Experience designing and implementing technical solutions and supporting project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of IT security principles, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience producing technical documentation, standards, and quality assurance processes.
  • DV Clearance.

Network IT is currently recruiting for a brilliant business in the South West of England, who are looking for an EUC Technical Lead to provide technical leadership across their end-user technology estate. You will act as the subject matter expert for EUC services, driving technical excellence, mentoring team members, and ensuring users have secure, reliable, and effective technology solutions that support business productivity.The background our client is looking for is a mix of leadership experience within infrastructure, along with the technical routing with EUC technologies such as SCCM, M365, Windows etc. Please note this is a DV Cleared role, candidates with active DV Clearance are a strong preference, due to onboarding timelines.
