Summary: The EUC Engineer role in Leicester is designed for a proactive individual with experience in imaging and deploying end-user computing devices. The position involves hands-on user support, inventory management, and process improvement, focusing on enhancing the user experience from day one. The role requires direct interaction with users and a commitment to compliance with security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently image and deploy PCs, laptops, and mobile devices for new users.
- Oversee shipping, receiving, and tracking of IT equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Conduct scheduled 1:1 sessions with new users for Day 1 support.
- Address and resolve hardware and software issues within agreed SLAs.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols in technology solutions.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years experience with End User Compute devices, focusing on Microsoft products.
- Proficiency in image deployment and maintenance.
- Familiarity with mobile technologies.
- Experience with a range of hardware including PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, and network equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective user support and team collaboration.
