Summary: The ETRM Business Analyst role focuses on supporting a commodities and energy trading firm by leveraging expertise in the European power market and ETRM systems. The position involves analyzing business requirements, functional specifications, and testing to ensure successful project delivery. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the trading space. This is a hybrid role with a strong emphasis on both business and IT alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gathering and analyzing business requirements from stakeholders and IT.
• Documenting business requirements and ensuring alignment with trading strategies.
• Participating in testing processes, including unit, QA, and UAT.
• Engaging with key business stakeholders to optimize existing systems in European power trading.
• Providing a comprehensive understanding of the power deal lifecycle, including trade capture and settlements.
• Liaising with architecture colleagues across Sales IT and Trading IT domains.
• Driving continuous improvement through post-implementation reviews.

Key Skills:

• Deep knowledge of the European power market.
• Experience with ETRM systems and middle-back office processes.
• Strong business analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of traded derivative products for ETD and OTC.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and program managers.
