Summary: The ETRM Business Analyst role focuses on supporting a commodities and energy trading firm by leveraging expertise in the European power market and ETRM systems. The position involves analyzing business requirements, functional specifications, and testing to ensure successful project delivery. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the trading space. This is a hybrid role requiring three days in the office per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements from stakeholders and IT.
- Documenting and optimizing existing systems related to European power trading.
- Engaging with business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with trading strategies.
- Participating in testing processes including unit, QA, and UAT.
- Collaborating with architecture teams across Sales IT and Trading IT domains.
- Conducting post-implementation reviews to identify opportunities for system performance enhancement.
Key Skills:
- Deep knowledge of the European power market.
- Experience with ETRM systems and middle-back office processes.
- Strong business analysis skills.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of traded derivative products for ETD and OTC.
- Ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
