eTrading C# .NET Developer (Commodities Derivatives) required by large Investment Bank, based in London (Hybrid Working model), to work within the Front Office core development team serving the full pre-trade through accounting chain for Commodities Derivatives. They have a portfolio of projects covering enhancements to pricing, risk, regulatory and post-trade services, and technical enhancements to reduce system complexity and increase scalability, performance and resilience.

To be successful, you will need to have an expertise within the Front Office environment, ideally pre-trade execution within the eTrading space coupled with strong C# (Multi threading/Concurrency, Low Latency, SQL, micro services, refactoring, clean code, software craftsmanship.

You will have recent and extensive Investment Banking experience as a C#.Net Developer coupled with the following skills/knowledge:

  • C#
  • SQL Server
  • eTrading experience - ideally Commodities, but any asset class will be considered
    • eTrading (pre-trade ideally)
    • Pre-Trade Execution - ideally
    • Understanding 'Trade Orders & Workflows'
  • Low Latency, High Performance exp

  • Nice to have - React/Angular - as the role will be 70% Back End and 30% front end
  • Business knowledge of financial instruments with commodities knowledge a plus
