Key Responsibilities:
- Managing workshops with data providers of capacity metrics to discover content and delivery methods
- Developing scripts, and ETL to obtain such data from the providers and working with a DBA to load this data into SQL Server from an Application Server
- Normalising raw infrastructure and monitoring data into structured formats suitable for graphing and trending
- Automating regular data ingestion processing
- Developing modern trending technologies and methods of predicting future usage from past data
- Collaborating with DBA's and other internal technical staff to ensure solutions are transparent and supportable by BAU Capacity analysts
- Developing application data flows for capacity data that are transparent in meaning

Description
We are looking for an experienced ETL Application Developer with experience of Extract/Transform/Load, SQL Server and data-processing of infrastructure-sourced capacity metrics. This role is critical to strengthening our organization's operational resilience by ensuring that the correct level of capacity monitoring is in place to highlight and mitigate potential system outages in a timely fashion to minimise potential disruptions.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that Capacity Management data providers deliver sufficient and timely data from platform and database sources, in order to meet regulatory criteria for evidence of sound capacity management processes, controls, and practices.
The role holder will be responsible for the following:
