Key Responsibilities:
- Tender Preparation: Producing precise and timely estimates for a variety of rail civils schemes.
- Bid Submissions: Creating and submitting compelling quotations, bids, and tenders to help us win new work.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with the bid team, engineers, and supply chain to ensure all technical and commercial requirements are met.
- Cost Analysis: Analyzing project plans and specifications to identify all necessary resources, materials, and labor.
Key Skills:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Estimator on rail civils projects.
- Software Skills: Hands-on experience with estimating software packages like Candy.
- Qualifications: A HNC or equivalent qualification is preferred, but not essential if you can demonstrate a strong track record.
- Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
