Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Review drawings, specifications, and scope documentation
- Complete take-offs and produce accurate cost breakdowns
- Obtain and analyse quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities
- Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings where required
- Support the commercial team during negotiations
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients and suppliers
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an Estimator within interior fit-out, refurbishment, or construction
- Strong knowledge of materials, labour costs, and current market rates
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- High level of numerical accuracy and commercial awareness
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence

Our client is a growing and ambitious interior fit-out company based in Cardiff, delivering high-quality commercial interior solutions across the UK. Due to continued growth in the SOuth Wales region, they are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join their team.
The Role
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for interior fit-out projects nationwide. You will work closely with the commercial, design, and project delivery teams to ensure smooth project transition from tender stage through to handover.
