Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of a commercial land and property portfolio
- Negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals, including dispute management where required
- Delivering acquisitions and disposals (leases, licences and sales), due diligence, and agreeing heads of terms
- Managing lease events including expiries, surrenders, and dilapidations negotiations
- Coordinating marketing of property/land to let or sell (including external agents where appropriate)
- Supporting asset valuations as part of annual audit requirements
- Preparing reports for approval and attending relevant meetings
- Coordinating landlord repair/maintenance responsibilities and inspections of vacant properties
Key Skills:
- Strong commercial estate management background (Local Authority experience essential)
- Proven capability across rent reviews, lease renewals, and transactional work
- Confident stakeholder management with tenants, agents, legal and finance teams
- Comfortable producing clear written reports and maintaining robust documentation
Salary (Rate): £450.00 Daily

Rate: Circa £400 per day
Spencer Clarke Groupare supporting a Lancashire based local authority to appoint an Estates Surveyor into their Property function. This is a hands-on role focused on commercial estate management, landlord and tenant matters, and supporting asset valuations.
You will manage a varied commercial property portfolio and take ownership of key transactions and negotiations, working closely with tenants, internal stakeholders, and legal and finance colleagues.
Responsibilities include
