Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-person, online, and hybrid EAL / ESOL tuition to children and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
  • Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
  • Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.

Key Skills:

  • 2+ years of online teaching experience, ideally with vulnerable non-English speaking students.
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (e.g., CELTA, TEFL, TESOL).
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
  • Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
  • Ability to work flexibly and creatively in a trauma-informed way.

ESOL / EAL Online Tutor and Teacher role requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years online teaching experience, ideally working with vulnerable non-English speaking students in a holistic and trauma-informed way
  • Subjects: EAL / ESL / ESOL / EFL
  • Qualifications: Professional Teaching Qualifications (e.g. CELTA, TEFL, TESOL)
  • Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
  • Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online jobs
  • Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

The ESOL / EAL Online Tutor and Teacher role and responsibilities:

  • Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid EAL / ESOL tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
  • Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 - KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
