Summary: The ERP Solution Architect (SAP S/4HANA) role involves leading a major transformation programme focused on SAP S/4HANA, ensuring effective solution architecture and integration governance. The position requires collaboration with system integrators and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions. This is a high-impact contract role for an experienced architect with a strong background in ERP systems. The contract is for an initial duration of 6 months and is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA upgrade and transformation initiatives.
- Design and govern integrated ERP solutions across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Concur and adjacent SAP platforms.
- Lead and support test automation strategy, including Tricentis and related tooling.
- Act as the primary architectural interface with the System Integrator (SI) partner, ensuring alignment to architecture standards and delivery objectives.
- Provide architectural oversight across build, testing, migration and go-live activities.
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience working as a SAP/ERP Solution Architect.
- Proven delivery experience across SAP S/4HANA upgrades, migrations or transformation programmes.
- Experience operating within SI-led delivery environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across business and technical teams.
- Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology, SAP accelerators and enterprise architecture best practices.

TalentBank Technology is supporting an organisation within the engineering and technology sector to engage an experienced ERP Solution Architect on an initial 6-month contract.
This role will play a key part in a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme, focused on solution architecture, integration governance, and enterprise ERP modernisation. The successful consultant will take ownership of end-to-end solution design across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Concur, and associated integrations, while working closely with system integrators and senior stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
This is a high-impact role suited to an architect who can combine strategic oversight, stakeholder management and technical leadership across complex ERP programmes.
