Summary: The ERP Training Lead will oversee the training strategy for a major ERP transformation program, ensuring the workforce is prepared for new systems and processes. This role involves leading the design and execution of ERP training activities while managing a team of Training Consultants. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to facilitate successful ERP adoption across the organization. The role is based in Stoke-on-Trent and is on-site 2 to 3 days a week from January to July 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own the ERP Training Strategy and Approach, ensuring alignment with the overall Business Change strategy.
  • Conduct ERP-focused Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify system and process learning requirements.
  • Create the ERP Training Plan, defining course content, delivery methods, durations, and required number of sessions based on the volume of learners.
  • Build and maintain the ERP Training Schedule, coordinating course dates with SMEs, Functional Leads, and Line Managers.
  • Design training material templates that meet programme standards and incorporate client branding.
  • Track and monitor ERP course attendance, providing detailed attendance data, feedback summaries, and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with organisational teams to support the rollout of an integrated training, learning, and adoption approach for ERP.
  • Coordinate Hypercare training support, ensuring smooth knowledge transition and handover of final materials to Business Owners.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience delivering training within an ERP transformation, ideally across multiple modules.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor Training Consultants or instructional design teams.
  • Experience using SAP.
  • Experience working in Local Authorities.

This is a strategic position responsible for shaping and owning the ERP training strategy, ensuring our workforce is fully prepared to adopt new systems, processes, and ways of working. You will lead the design, coordination, and execution of all ERP-related training activities, while managing and supporting a team of Training Consultants.
