Summary: Stirling Dynamics is seeking a part-time ERP Consultant to enhance the development and operation of their Epicor Kinetic platform. The role involves acting as a technical expert to ensure alignment between system configuration and business processes while maintaining data integrity. The consultant will collaborate with various business teams and support system integration and user training initiatives. The position allows for a mix of on-site and remote work based in Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support with the design and implementation of the ERP roadmap in line with Stirling Dynamics’ business strategy
  • Support change control and communications to the wider business
  • Available as an expert to ensure process standardisation and system scalability
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, finance, IT, HR and other business teams to gather requirements, assess process gaps, report template creation/maintenance and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Act as the escalation point for business-critical ERP issues
  • Systems Integration support with: Testing following ERP maintenance and feature updates
  • Identifying opportunities for and managing integration of the ERP with other platforms
  • Automation and digitisation initiatives
  • The creation and roll out of user training programmes

Key Skills:

  • Relevant Epicor qualifications (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of production, finance, supply chain, and inventory business processes
  • Functional knowledge of Epicor modules: Production, Finance, Sales, Procurement and Engineering
  • Understanding of database architecture, user permissions, and workflow automation
  • Functional knowledge of Epicor Modules: Project Billing, CADLINK
  • Demonstrated success managing ERP projects and system upgrades across multi-site environments
  • Significant experience working with Epicor ERP (preferably Kinetic/SaaS)
  • Experience of BAQ and SSRS reporting
  • Experience of Power BI, API and SQL (desirable)

Overview Stirling Dynamics is recruiting a part-time ERP Consultant to support the ongoing development and reliable operation of our Epicor Kinetic platform. We have recently introduced Epicor Kinetic as our ERP system and are looking for an Epicor expert who can support us with technical issues and ongoing development. This role will act as the go-to expert ensuring alignment between technical configuration and business process requirements, maintaining data integrity, and enabling future scalability. Due to the nature of the role, the level of hours will vary throughout the year. This role will be based in our Bristol office however the Consultant will be able to work remotely part of the time.
