Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2/L3 application support within an EQD trading environment
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents (P1/P2) impacting trading systems
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventative improvements
  • Monitor systems proactively and address issues before business impact
  • Work closely with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams
  • Support releases, deployments, and BAU activities

Key Skills:

  • Strong Linux/Unix command line skills (processes, logs, troubleshooting)
  • Hands-on Scripting experience (Python and/or Bash)
  • Strong SQL skills (querying, data analysis, troubleshooting)
  • Proven experience in application/production support
  • Knowledge of Equities/Equities Derivatives (EQD) products
  • Experience in trading systems or Front Office environments
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Geneos, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.)
