Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 application support within an EQD trading environment
- Investigate and resolve production incidents (P1/P2) impacting trading systems
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventative improvements
- Monitor systems proactively and address issues before business impact
- Work closely with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams
- Support releases, deployments, and BAU activities
Key Skills:
- Strong Linux/Unix command line skills (processes, logs, troubleshooting)
- Hands-on Scripting experience (Python and/or Bash)
- Strong SQL skills (querying, data analysis, troubleshooting)
- Proven experience in application/production support
- Knowledge of Equities/Equities Derivatives (EQD) products
- Experience in trading systems or Front Office environments
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Geneos, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.)
