Summary: The role of EPR Business Intelligence & Reporting Project Manager involves overseeing the delivery of reporting and analytics capabilities for an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation within an NHS Trust in Merseyside. The position requires strong project management skills, particularly in the NHS context, to ensure that various reporting needs are met throughout the project lifecycle. The role is hybrid, allowing for a combination of on-site and remote work. The contract is for three months and is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, coordinating, and assuring delivery of reporting and analytics capabilities for EPR implementation.
- Ensuring statutory, operational, clinical, and performance reporting needs are understood and prioritized.
- Managing third-party suppliers and internal technical teams to deliver agreed scope, time, and quality.
- Engaging stakeholders and defining requirements for reporting workstreams.
- Conducting testing/validation and preparing for go-live support.
Key Skills:
- Proven NHS project management experience delivering BI/Reporting workstreams within an Acute EPR Deployment.
- Working knowledge of BI and data concepts (data warehousing, ETL/ELT, semantic models, dashboards, environments, release management).
- Strong planning, RAID/RAIDL management, and governance reporting capability.
- Familiarity with NHS datasets/returns and performance reporting (e.g., operational KPIs, quality metrics).

Our NHS client in Merseyside requires a EPR Business Intelligence & Reporting Project Manager to support their EPR Programme.
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and assuring delivery of the reporting and analytics capabilities required for an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation within an NHS Trust. Ensuring statutory, operational, clinical, and performance reporting needs are understood, prioritised, built, tested, and ready for cutover, go-live, and post go-live support.
Required skills and experience:
- Proven NHS project management experience delivering BI/Reporting workstreams within an Acute EPR Deployment.
- Working knowledge of BI and data concepts (data warehousing, ETL/ELT, semantic models, dashboards, environments, release management).
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and internal technical teams to deliver to agreed scope, time, and quality.
- Strong planning, RAID/RAIDL management, and governance reporting capability.
