ePP/DS Functional Consultant

Summary: Next Ventures is seeking two experienced SAP ePP/DS Functional Consultants for a long-term implementation project with a consumer goods client in Europe. The role focuses on delivering a robust scheduling solution while adhering to clean core principles within a private cloud environment. Candidates will engage in both remote and occasional on-site workshops, requiring a strong understanding of SAP ePP/DS functionalities. Immediate start is preferred for this freelance position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and deliver SAP ePP/DS scheduling functionalities in alignment with the existing solution template.
• Avoid unnecessary custom development – adhere to clean core principles.
• Act as a functional expert with a strong grasp of business context, not just configuration.
• Participate in remote and occasional on-site workshops with client stakeholders.
• Support implementation across integrated systems; note: MES handled outside of ePP/DS scope.

Key Skills:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in SAP ePP/DS; 10+ years preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end implementation projects, particularly in consumer goods or similar industries.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, planning, and integration within the broader SAP landscape.
• Business process-oriented mindset with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a structured project team.
