About the Role
You'll be responsible for carrying out a variety of on-site engineering tasks, including:
- EPOS installations and hardware deployments
- Break/fix support and fault diagnosis
- Hardware upgrades and equipment replacements
- Store openings, closures and technology refresh projects
- Installation of printers, scanners, payment terminals and other peripherals
- Basic network connectivity and cable management
- Completing job reports using a mobile device
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as an EPOS Engineer, IT Field Engineer or Field Service Engineer
- Strong hardware installation and fault-finding skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Own reliable vehicle and a full UK driving licence are essential
- Willingness to travel extensively within your allocated region and across the UK when required
- Ability to stay away from home overnight during project work

- Experience within retail or hospitality environments
- Windows operating systems
- Basic networking and connectivity
- Chip & PIN/payment terminals
- Structured cabling
