Summary: The Environmental & Safety Advisor for Offshore Decommissioning will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and internal standards while supporting the UK's goal of achieving Net Zero by 2050. This position involves preparing permit applications, managing risk assessments, and collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to streamline processes. The advisor will also lead audits and sustainability initiatives within the decommissioning team. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and track Environmental Permit applications and compliance reports
- Draft Environmental & Safety sections in decommissioning plans and close-out reports
- Manage risk assessments (HAZID, ENVID) and drive continuous improvements
- Ensure regulatory requirements are captured, updated, and met
- Lead audits, sustainability initiatives, and contractor compliance efforts
