Key Responsibilities: Environment Management:

Design, implement, and maintain multiple environments, including development, QA, UAT, and production.

Define and manage environment strategies that align with project delivery schedules.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve environment-related issues to minimize downtime.
Configuration and Deployment:

Ensure consistent and automated deployment processes across all environments.
-
Manage environment configurations and keep documentation up-to-date.
-
Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimise CI/CD pipelines.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
-
Act as the primary point of contact for environment-related concerns.
-
Work closely with developers, testers, and infrastructure teams to provision and support environments.
-
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to address environment needs and risks.
Monitoring and Optimization:

Implement monitoring solutions to track environment performance and health.
-
Conduct regular audits to ensure security and compliance standards are met.
-
Analyze and improve environment performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
Incident and Problem Management:

Respond to environment-related incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.

Maintain and communicate an environment outage and recovery plan.
Process Improvement:

Develop and enforce standards, processes, and best practices for environment management.

Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
Required Qualifications:Technical Skills:

Proven experience in managing development, testing, and production environments.

Proficiency with configuration management tools (eg, Ansible, Terraform, or Chef).

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
-
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (eg, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Expertise in virtualiastion and containerisation (eg, VMware, Docker, Kubernetes).
-
Familiarity with monitoring tools (eg, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).

Educational Background and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in technical environment management or a similar role.

Certifications in cloud platforms, ITIL, or DevOps practices are a plus.
