Summary: The Environment Lead role at Whitehall Resources involves overseeing daily operations to ensure service performance, troubleshooting, and managing application health checks. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily operations to secure service performance.
- Troubleshooting and fault management.
- Continuously running (automated) application health checks with capabilities for proactive and reactive measures to keep the application/database healthy.
- Monitor availability and performance of systems, applications, application middleware, processes, interfaces, batch runs.
- Implementing configuration changes and other changes for middleware, load balancing and proxy servers to secure performance.
- Planning, maintenance and implementing of automated monitoring scripts.
- Keeping application configuration and parameters up-to-date.
- Maintaining operational SLAs.
Key Skills:
- Experience for supporting Operations for high availability Telecom systems such as Online & Offline Charging/Rating systems (OCS).
- Experience of working with Open stack, VMware, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Kibana, etc.
- Knowledge of Telecom domain, OCS and surrounding integrations of OCS system is preferred.
- Strong Experience of working on Unix/Linux and writing shell/bash scripts.
- Knowledge of ECE (part of Oracle RODOD product suite) is preferred.
- Familiar with 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G Mobile Core Network architectures is preferred.
- Good to have Knowledge of BRM & ECE (part of Oracle RODOD product suite).
