Summary: The role of Junior Financial Analyst involves providing data-driven insights to optimize profitability for a global technology company. The position requires analyzing complex financial data and preparing reports to support executive decision-making. The analyst will also be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis within the Management Support Team. This position is based in London and requires fluency in Korean.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support annual business planning, manage moving plans, and drive monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasting cycles.
- Create and manage monthly budgets while overseeing smooth month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Analyse actual financial results against monthly forecasts and business plans to flag variances and total cost impacts.
- Manage weekly AR monitoring, unbilled lists, outstanding invoices, and update weekly/monthly Service KPIs and Business Review Reports.
- Handle ad hoc reporting requests from both local leadership and Global HQ, and assist with cost centre creation/ERP mapping during structural changes.
Key Skills:
- A degree/major in Management or Business is highly preferable.
- Prior experience working with ERP systems is a distinct advantage.
- Advanced MS Excel skills are essential (seamless with VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables).
- Exceptional communication skills with a strong teamwork mindset.
- Awareness of and comfort working within a vibrant, multi-cultural corporate environment.
- A great attitude with the flexibility to respond quickly to sudden HQ requests and manage project risks.

As a Junior Financial Analyst, you will be the engine behind the management support team, providing the accurate, data-driven insights needed to optimise the company's profitability. You will analyse complex financial data, monitor trends, and prepare the critical reports that help executive decision-makers make well-informed strategic choices.
