Summary: The D365 Business Analyst (BA) – Supply Chain role involves working on a 6-month contract basis to enhance supply chain processes using Microsoft Dynamics 365. The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and implement D365 solutions to optimize business operations. A strong background in supply chain management and experience with D365 is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements related to supply chain processes, including inventory management, procurement, logistics, order processing, and demand planning.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the implementation and enhancement of D365 Supply Chain modules.
  • Analyse and map current supply chain processes and recommend improvements or best practices based on D365 capabilities.
  • Support the design, testing, and deployment of D365 solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the supply chain function.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and review the design of business processes.
  • Work closely with IT teams, developers, and system integrators to ensure alignment between business needs and system capabilities.
  • Provide training and support to end users post-implementation.
  • Ensure that the D365 solution is configured to meet business needs, including integration with other enterprise systems.
  • Provide advice and guidance on D365 features and best practices to optimise supply chain operations.
  • Support the troubleshooting and resolution of any system issues post-implementation.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Dynamics 365, particularly in the Supply Chain domain (D365 Supply Chain Management).
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices, including inventory, procurement, warehouse management, logistics, and order processing.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and functional specifications writing.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience in system configuration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live support for D365 projects.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies or similar project management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a hybrid working environment.
