Summary: The Enterprise Manager role at Heriot-Watt University involves developing and promoting a pan-Scotland entrepreneurship program for students, staff, and graduates. The role is fixed-term until December 2025, with potential for extension, and includes responsibilities for managing the Converge process and supporting aspiring entrepreneurs. The position reports to the Executive Director of Converge and involves some travel and evening/weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with staff from 19 universities to build partnerships and interactions.
• Manage the Converge process to ensure effective support mechanisms are in place.
• Proactively engage with aspiring academic entrepreneurs and Converge alumni.
• Increase awareness of Converge programs among stakeholders.
• Lead the Cloud Architecture Group within the Cloud & Datacenter team.
• Inform the overall GIS Cloud Strategy to meet university aims.
• Identify and implement cloud architecture solutions.
• Contribute to the design and maintenance of Datacenter solutions.
• Work with the Cyber Security and Compliance team to ensure secure solutions.
• Collaborate with external service providers to resolve issues.

Key Skills:
