Summary: The Enterprise Data Architect at Kagool will lead the design and evolution of complex, multi-cloud data landscapes, focusing on Azure and Google Cloud. Key Responsibilities:

  • Define current and future-state data landscapes across enterprise environments
  • Design conceptual, logical, and physical architectures spanning Azure and Google Cloud data services
  • Create and maintain enterprise data models, standards, and governance frameworks
  • Develop a target reference design encompassing all data capabilities across ingestion, processing, storage, analytics, AI, and governance
  • Capture and evolve information architecture artefacts from parent organisations
  • Design and architect innovation platforms on Google Cloud for AI, ML, and automation use cases
  • Provide architectural guidance on separation and migration from Azure to Google Cloud
  • Lead architecture and delivery for SAP data extraction and integration into Azure and Google platforms
  • Document enterprise application, system, and data integration flows
  • Work closely with business leaders, technical teams, and partners

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Enterprise or Lead Data Architect
  • Strong expertise across Azure and Google Cloud data platforms

As we continue to expand our enterprise delivery capability, we are looking for an Enterprise Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of complex, multi-cloud data landscapes

The Role This is a senior, client-facing role where you will shape enterprise data strategies and architectures across Azure and Google Cloud. You will define target state architectures, guide transformation programmes, and ensure data platforms are aligned to business, analytics, and AI use cases. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, and technology partners to create robust, scalable, and innovative data ecosystems. This is a long term engagement with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities Enterprise Data Architecture Define current and future-state data landscapes across enterprise environments Design conceptual, logical, and physical architectures spanning Azure and Google Cloud data services Create and maintain enterprise data models, standards, and governance frameworks Target Reference Architecture Develop a target reference design encompassing all data capabilities across ingestion, processing, storage, analytics, AI, and governance Align architecture with evolving business domains and detection/analytics use cases Information Architecture & Governance Capture and evolve information architecture artefacts from parent organisations Adapt and optimise these for new use cases and platforms Ensure alignment with data governance, security, and compliance standards Innovation & AI Platforms Design and architect innovation platforms on Google Cloud for AI, ML, and automation use cases Enable advanced analytics capabilities including real-time processing, predictive modelling, and intelligent automation Multi-Cloud Strategy Provide architectural guidance on separation and migration from Azure to Google Cloud Define patterns for interoperability, data portability, and minimising vendor lock-in Establish best practices for hybrid and multi-cloud data ecosystems Data Integration & SAP Lead architecture and delivery for SAP data extraction and integration into Azure and Google platforms Collaborate with partners to implement scalable ingestion frameworks and pipelines Integration & Data Flow Design Document enterprise application, system, and data integration flows Define event-driven and batch integration patterns Ensure end-to-end data lineage and traceability Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with business leaders, technical teams, and partners Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes Provide architectural leadership across programmes What We’re Looking For Proven experience as an Enterprise or Lead Data Architect Strong expertise across Azure and Google Cloud data platforms Deep understanding of: Data warehousing, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures Data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical) Data governance, security, and compliance Experience with SAP data integration and enterprise ERP ecosystems Knowledge of AI/ML platforms , particularly within Google Cloud Strong experience in multi-cloud and migration strategies Ability to design scalable, high-performance data architectures Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Desirable Skills Experience with tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Databricks, Synapse, or similar Knowledge of real-time streaming technologies (e.g. Kafka, Pub/Sub) Familiarity with data observability and lineage tools TOGAF or similar architecture certifications Experience in consultancy or client-facing roles
