Summary: The Enterprise Data Architect role is focused on enhancing data resilience within a leading financial services organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Champion the data resiliency agenda, ensuring seamless data flow across technology landscapes.
- Establish and support controls to identify data vulnerabilities across various environments.
- Engage with stakeholders to embed data assessments and enhance operational resilience.
- Analyse annual data resilience assessments to pinpoint vulnerabilities regarding data availability, integrity, and security.
- Create comprehensive data lineage documentation to illustrate data movement across applications.
- Present findings to senior governance forums and help shape execution plans for addressing vulnerabilities.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in managing batches, messaging queues, third-party data connections, encryption, data recovery, and cloud technologies.
- Strong background in the banking or insurance sectors with a focus on improving data resilience.
- Knowledge of FCA, PRA, and EBA guidelines on operational resilience.
- Solid understanding of payments, cards, pensions, insurance, markets, and customer journeys.
- Expertise in identifying data resiliency issues within Middleware components.
- Experience in a Data Pillar or similar role is desirable.
- Familiarity with managing data across public and private clouds and insights into emerging technologies.
- Strong skills in Disaster Recovery, cyber threat monitoring, and data encryption.
