Summary: The Enterprise Business Analyst will play a crucial role in a large-scale transformation project within a Commodities Trading House, focusing on aligning sales and retail operations with Trading IT. This position requires extensive experience in Front Office Energy Trading IT, particularly in the Gas sector, and involves direct collaboration with users on the trading floor. The analyst will be responsible for requirement gathering, documentation, and facilitating workshops to create a cohesive roadmap for the business. The role demands proactive engagement with stakeholders and effective communication across technical and non-technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify user needs through direct engagement and collaboration.
- Create worked examples, mock-ups, and test cases to clarify requirements.
- Perform hands-on system or data analysis to identify necessary changes.
- Work within both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Conduct assessments, documentation, prioritization, and workshops.
Key Skills:
- 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in Trading.
- Understanding of the physical commodities trading lifecycle.
- Experience in enterprise-level transformation projects in IT.
- Knowledge of front and middle office operations, including pricing and valuation.
- Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
