Summary: The Enterprise Architect role involves leading the technology strategy for a prominent sports brand undergoing digital transformation. Key Responsibilities:
- Defining and owning the enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap across applications, data, infrastructure, and integration domains
- Working closely with senior stakeholders across UK and international teams to align technology direction with business and event delivery goals
- Leading architectural governance to ensure consistency, scalability, security, and performance across all systems
- Assessing existing platforms and defining target-state architectures to support ongoing digital transformation and global operations
- Collaborating with solution architects, engineering, and delivery teams to guide design decisions and ensure architectural alignment
- Identifying opportunities for innovation, modernization, and cloud adoption across a complex, high-visibility environment
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or Senior Solution/Technical Architect operating at enterprise scale
- Strong background across multiple architecture domains (applications, data, infrastructure, integration)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern architecture patterns (APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture)
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or equivalent
- Experience working within large-scale transformation programmes in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills at senior leadership level
