Summary: The Enterprise Architect - IT Systems role focuses on defining and leading the strategic architecture for internal systems within a Tier-1 telecom operator environment. The position requires extensive experience in creating end-to-end architectures, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving transformation initiatives. A strong technical background in software development and platform engineering is highly desirable, along with proficiency in observability frameworks and BSS vendor platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Define long-term vision for internal systems including billing, order management, product catalogue, CPQ, and customer lifecycle management.
- Create end-to-end architectures at scale with business and product stakeholders.
- Lead transformation initiatives for Lead-to-Cash (L2C) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
- Manage architectural decision-making and design transformation across the organization.
- Negotiate technical implementations with enterprise software vendors and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Drive adoption roadmap for process automation and establish architectural practices that scale.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in strategic BSS architecture and leadership.
- Strong engineering background with hands-on experience in software development or systems engineering.
- Proficient in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++.
- Experience with observability frameworks like Prometheus, ElasticSearch, and Grafana.
- Knowledge of data persistence across SQL, NoSQL, and TSDB.
- Familiarity with BSS vendor platforms such as Salesforce and Amdocs.
- Understanding of telecom domain knowledge including WAN, overlay, and security products.
- Experience with major enterprise platforms and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).

- Strategic BSS Architecture & Leadership
- Strategic BSS architecture: defining long-term vision for internal systems including billing, order management, product catalogue, CPQ and customer lifecycle management - with deep understanding of data models, processes and how these support business operations
- Proven experience creating E2E architectures at scale with business and product stakeholders
- Lead-to-Cash (L2C) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) transformation at scale across Tier-1 telecom operator environments
- Leads architectural decision-making and design transformation initiatives across the organisation
- Strong stakeholder management: working with enterprise software vendors as strategic partners, negotiating technical implementations and managing complex stakeholder relationships
