Summary: The Enterprise Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing specialized IT architecture, focusing on mission-critical systems. This role includes system administration, maintenance, and providing technical support for complex technologies. The architect will also serve as a subject matter expert, ensuring system stability and optimal performance while collaborating with other units. The position requires extensive experience with specific technologies and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and implement architecture for highly specialized IT systems.
- Serve as storage infrastructure architect for mission-critical systems.
- Perform independent analysis, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of complex web, mainframe, and/or client-server technologies.
- Deploy and manage systems software, hardware, and related systems.
- Provide technical support in developing, maintaining, installing, and using operating systems and subsystems.
- Design, create, install, and maintain system software support elements on mission-critical systems.
- Tune systems for optimal performance and track system capacity.
- Ensure system stability and train skilled systems programmers.
- Collaborate and liaise with other units as a technical resource and subject matter expert.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience with SAMQFS.
- 10+ years of experience with SL8500.
- 10+ years of experience with ACSLS.
- 10+ years of experience with Clemson USCalifornia DRBS relationship.
- Proficiency in Perl.
- Proficiency in C.
- Experience with Splunk.
- Experience with ESXi.
- Ability to conduct system performance reviews.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex systems.
