Enterprise Architect

Summary: The Enterprise Architect role involves leading architectural initiatives within a blue-chip client environment, focusing on IT Infrastructure, Applications, and Cyber Security. The position emphasizes Secure by Design principles and compliance with the NIST Risk Management Framework. The architect will engage with senior stakeholders to influence technical decisions and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. This is a 10-month hybrid contract based in Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of Architects across multiple disciplines (Infra, Apps, Cyber).
• Defining, maintaining, and evolving enterprise-level conceptual architecture designs.
• Translating business requirements into secure, scalable, and cost-effective architectural solutions.
• Embedding Secure by Design principles throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ensuring architecture and solution designs comply with NIST controls and internal policies.
• Leading architectural governance forums to align solutions with enterprise standards.
• Influencing and advising senior client stakeholders on architectural decisions.
• Monitoring emerging technologies and driving continuous improvement in architecture methodologies.
• Mentoring solution architects and junior team members.

Key Skills:

• Experience in enterprise architecture roles, ideally in complex, regulated environments.
• Expertise in IT infrastructure, application, and cyber security architecture.
• Strong knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework and Secure by Design principles.
• Proven experience leading architecture governance in large-scale transformation programmes.
• Ability to engage and influence C-level and senior stakeholders.
