Summary: The Enterprise Architect role at Porton Down involves leading the enterprise architecture vision and strategy across business, technology, and data. Key Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve enterprise architecture strategy, roadmaps and target states (“as-is”, “to-be”, transitional).
- Identify and prioritise enterprise-wide change initiatives.
- Lead architectural decisions across multiple domains and programmes.
- Establish and govern architecture principles, standards and policies.
- Advise on reuse, scalability, sustainability and value for money.
- Assure alignment of business, technology and data decisions to EA strategy.
- Conduct horizon scanning (industry, technology, policy trends).
- Build and develop the architecture community.
- Influence senior stakeholders and mediate complex architectural discussions.
