Key Responsibilities:

  • Cover multiple vacancies/secondments & maternity leave within the CTO Architecture functions.
  • Produce high-level architecture, future/north star, and emerging technology views and roadmaps.
  • Provide architectural guidance, including external expertise on trends and best practices.
  • Assist with transition states, designs, and architecture delivery.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders involved in the programme.
  • Deliver designs, tooling strategy, and data delivery patterns.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge across architecture disciplines.
  • Understanding of 'Architecture as Code' and composability.
  • Ability to work across business domains.
  • Experience in stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of banking, blockchain, payments, loans, cards, pensions, markets, machine learning, and cloud services.

Role: Enterprise Architect

Location: London/ Manchester/ Bristol/ Leeds/ Edinburgh (2days/week On-Site)

Job Type: Contract

In-scope technologies/products: Multiple tech skills across a range of technologies to support the CTO Architecture Platforms.

Stakeholder Management, Architecture, Banking knowledge, Blockchain, DLP, Payments, Loans, Cards, Pensions, Markets, Machine Learning, Cloud Services, Agentic AI and Artificial Intelligence

Skillsets required: Multiple roles across our Architecture Functions - Consumer and Digital x 3, IP&I x 1, Commercial x 5, Data & AI x 1 & Enteprise Functions x 3. and TS&I x 1.

Must be strong across architecture disciplines but also have a understanding and ability to take on 'Architecture as Code', concept of composiblty, ability to work across business domains and the cabability to build architecture components themselves.

Scope of services: Cover multiple vacancies/secondments & mat leave cover within the CTO Architecture functions

Produce highlevel architecture, future/north star and emerging technology views and roadmaps - with a view to start implementing 'ARchitecture as Code'.

Provide architectural guidance, including external expertise on trends and best practice for strategy, principles, standards and guardrails.

Help with transition states, designs and architecture delivery

Embedded within the programme and work with workstreams leads to help drive scope, requirements, archiecture and design roadmaps

Stakeholder engagment both Internal and External involved in the programme

Responsible for delivering designs, tooling strategy and data delivery patterns
