Summary: The Enterprise Architect role at ZS involves leading the growth and development of the Technology Advisory Practice within the Technology Services Group. The position requires collaboration with clients and internal teams to drive technology-enabled transformations while managing client relationships and generating new business opportunities. The successful candidate will also contribute to thought leadership and practice evolution, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client needs. This role emphasizes a strong technical acumen and leadership in a consulting environment, particularly within regulated industries like pharmaceuticals and biotech.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-lead the growth and development of the tech advisory and digital architecture practice.
  • Support practice senior leadership in thought ware development, pipeline growth, and relationship building.
  • Demonstrate leadership in Technology Consulting by addressing tech-enabled transformations.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities and drive go-to-market strategies.
  • Map processes to architecture blueprints and technology capabilities.
  • Provide technical acumen to solve business problems and client challenges.
  • Co-architect and co-author whitepapers and points of view with practice leaders.
  • Build and manage client relationships and drive new business opportunities.
  • Lead and motivate diverse teams, providing feedback and fostering an inclusive environment.
  • Travel to meet client needs as required.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a master’s in niche technology streams.
  • 10 - 12+ years of experience in Technology and/or Architectural consulting.
  • Experience in architecture, software engineering, data, and analytics.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or similarly regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of EU work culture and fluency in relevant languages.
  • In-depth knowledge of EU architectural mandates and technology tools.
  • Hands-on experience in leading core development projects and engineering teams.
  • Solid PMO experience in managing project SDLC and agile methodologies.
  • Experience in developing conceptual and enterprise architectures for large-scale transformations.
  • Understanding of platform and infrastructure roles in technology strategy.
  • Ability to articulate various tenets of technology and architecture.
  • Experience with RFPs, pricing strategies, and consulting models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and client demands.
