Summary: The Enterprise Architect role involves supporting a complex Information Systems environment during a transformation period, working closely with IS leadership and business stakeholders. The position requires a hands-on approach to shape technology direction, support architecture governance, and ensure alignment between business strategy and IT delivery. The ideal candidate will operate across various domains and contribute at both strategic and tactical levels. This is a contract position for 6 months, with a focus on delivering coherent IS strategies and promoting best practices across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the understanding of business strategy and help capture and articulate business objectives.
  • Contribute to translating business needs into coherent IS strategies, principles and solution options.
  • Assist in defining the target Information Systems landscape and supporting roadmap development.
  • Collaborate with Domain and Solution Architects to support architecture design across initiatives.
  • Provide input to enterprise and domain architecture models aligned to business and technology strategy.
  • Identify and document regulatory, security, and compliance constraints relevant to assigned initiatives.
  • Support architecture governance processes, including standards, principles, patterns and documentation.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and platforms.
  • Help define, maintain and promote technology standards, reference architectures and reusable patterns.
  • Support the development of initiative roadmaps, ensuring business, security, reliability and performance requirements are considered.
  • Promote best practices and architectural standards across IS teams and delivery partners.

Key Skills:

  • Broad enterprise architecture experience across Marketing, Sales, Delivery (including Manufacturing) and Operations.
  • Experience working across complex, integrated enterprise environments.
  • Exposure to data platforms and analytics architectures; experience with Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks, methods and governance.
  • Ability to operate at strategic, tactical and operational planning levels.
  • Proven capability in technology advising and influencing stakeholders.

About the Role Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect (Generalist) to support a large, complex Information Systems (IS) environment during a period of change and transformation. The role will work closely with IS leadership, Domain Architects and business stakeholders to help shape technology direction, support architecture governance, and ensure alignment between business strategy and IT delivery. This is a hands-on, advisory role suited to an architect who can operate across business, data, application, and infrastructure domains, and who is comfortable contributing at both strategic and tactical levels.
