Summary: The role of Enterprise Architect involves leading the data resiliency agenda within a Financial Services client's Data Resilience Team. The position requires extensive experience in ensuring data integrity and recovery across various banking operations, with a focus on mitigating risks associated with data loss and corruption. The role is hybrid, requiring two days in the office each week, and is offered on a 9-month contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Push the data resiliency agenda across the business.
- Analyze data flow from source to destination across the technology landscape.
- Identify and address data resiliency issues on middleware components.
- Ensure data can be recovered within the impact tolerance of Important Business Services.
- Collaborate on improving data resilience in banking or insurance sectors.
Key Skills:
- 15-20 years of relevant experience in data resilience roles.
- Experience with batches, messaging queues, third-party data connections, and encryption.
- Knowledge of data recovery, backup, data vaulting, and data integrity.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and operational resilience guidelines (FCA, PRA, EBA).
- Strong enterprise technical architecture background.
- Understanding of payments, cards, pensions, insurance, markets, and trade & settlement.
- Experience with Service Now and TOGAF.
