A leading international organisation is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to define and drive its enterprise architecture strategy.
This highly visible role requires an individual who can work in close partnership with business leaders, ensuring technology decisions directly support organisational goals, operational efficiency, and long-term growth.
Working closely with senior technology leadership, you will be responsible for shaping and governing enterprise architecture across business, application, data, integration, AI, and technology domains.
Success in this role will depend on your ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple business functions, translating strategic priorities into practical architecture roadmaps and technology solutions.
This is not a role for someone who wants to operate purely within technology.
The organisation is looking for an architect who can influence, collaborate, challenge, and partner with business leaders to ensure technology investments deliver measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, principles, and target-state roadmap.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across business functions to ensure alignment between business objectives and technology strategy.
- Lead architecture decisions across applications, integrations, data platforms, cloud technologies, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Define enterprise integration strategies using API-led, event-driven, and cloud-based architectures.
- Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across the organisation.
- Provide architectural leadership for digital transformation, cloud adoption, data initiatives, and AI programmes.
Requirements
- Demonstrate significant experience within Enterprise Architecture operating as Lead Architect or a similar strategic architecture role.
- Proven background working closely with business leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Strong ability to translate business strategy into technology capability and architecture roadmaps.
- Experience operating within complex, integration-heavy and data-driven environments.
- Deep understanding of enterprise applications, data architecture, integration architecture, and cloud platforms.
- Previous experience enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Sitecore, SuccessFactors, or similar would be beneficial as would strong knowledge of iPaaS platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or equivalent technologies and experience with API management, event-driven architecture, and SaaS ecosystems.
This is contract role based in central London with 3 days in office each work.
