Summary: The role of Enterprise Architect involves designing and governing integration and AI-enabled architectures, focusing on API integration and intelligent data solutions. This position is offered on an initial 6-month contract basis. The architect will ensure alignment with business strategies while providing oversight across major programs. The role requires significant experience in complex integration environments and strong communication skills for engaging with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and evolve the enterprise architecture vision, principles and target state in line with business, digital and data strategies
- Provide architectural oversight across major programmes and initiatives, ensuring consistency and scalability
- Lead the approach to enterprise integration and AI architecture, enabling reusable, well governed platforms and services
Key Skills:
- Significant experience in enterprise or lead architecture roles, operating across complex, integration-heavy environments
- Strong architectural capability across applications, data, integration, technology and AI domains
- Proven experience defining target architectures, roadmaps and transition states that balance strategic ambition with practical delivery
- Deep understanding of enterprise integration concepts, including API-led architectures, event-driven systems and iPaaS platforms
- Hands-on experience with one or more major integration platforms (eg MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services or similar)
- Solid cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Experience working with large SaaS ecosystems and enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Sitecore or SuccessFactors
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage confidently at senior and executive level.
- Ability to establish architectural standards and governance without slowing delivery or innovation.
