Summary: The role of Enterprise Architect involves leading architectural efforts for a significant Strategic Infrastructure Programme within a high-profile consultancy. The position requires expertise in Critical National Infrastructure, particularly in the Energy or Utilities sectors, and demands strong communication and leadership skills. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders and security experts to ensure alignment with enterprise security controls. This is a hybrid role, primarily remote, for a duration of six months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural discovery across capabilities, non-functional requirements, integrations, and data flows.
- Drive architectural direction by interpreting vendor and organizational technology roadmaps.
- Collaborate with security SMEs to ensure alignment with enterprise security controls.
- Influence senior audiences through excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Deliver documentation and analysis at pace in complex, multi-stakeholder programmes.
Key Skills:
- Strong background as an Enterprise Architect or Lead Solutions Architect.
- Experience in Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) within the Energy or Utilities sectors.
- Proven ability to drive architectural discovery and deliver documentation effectively.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience collaborating with security SMEs.
- Flexibility towards hybrid working arrangements.
- Ideally from a Software, SaaS, or Digital Technology background.
- Prior involvement in Digital Transformation discovery phases.
- Immediate availability.

My client is a high-profile consultancy who are seeking an exceptional Enterprise Architect / Lead Solutions Architect to support a large-scale Strategic Infrastructure Programme for an instantly recognisable end client.
Key Requirements:
- Strong background as an Enterprise Architect / Lead Solutions Architect in complex, multi stakeholder programmes
- Experience in Critical National Infrastructure (CNI), within the Energy / Utilities (or equivalent) sector(s)
- Proven ability to drive Architectural discovery across capabilities, NFRs, integrations and data flows
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience influencing senior audiences
- Strong analytical and documentation skills with a proven ability to deliver at pace
- Experience collaborating with security SMEs to ensure alignment with enterprise security controls
- Ability to interpret vendor and organisational technology roadmaps to inform architectural direction
- Flexibility towards hybrid working
Nice to have:
