Summary: The role of Enterprise Architect involves leading the data resiliency agenda within a Financial Services client's Data Resilience Team in Birmingham. The position requires extensive experience in ensuring data integrity and recovery across various banking operations, focusing on mitigating risks associated with data loss and corruption. The contract is for 9 months with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring two days in the office each week. The role is classified as inside IR35, with a competitive daily rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Push the data resiliency agenda across the business.
- Analyze data flow from source to destination to prevent data loss and corruption.
- Ensure data can be recovered within the impact tolerance of Important Business Services.
- Identify data resiliency issues on middleware components.
- Collaborate on improving data resilience in banking or insurance sectors.
- Work with batches, messaging queues, third-party data connections, and encryption.
- Understand payments, cards, pensions, insurance, markets, trade & settlement, and customer journeys.
- Apply technical knowledge of FCA, PRA, EBA guidelines on operational resilience.
- Utilize strong enterprise technical architecture background and tools like Service Now and TOGAF.
Key Skills:
- 15-20 years of relevant experience in data resilience roles.
- Experience in banking or insurance sectors.
- Knowledge of data recovery, backup, data vaulting, and data integrity.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies.
- Understanding of operational resilience guidelines (FCA, PRA, EBA).
- Strong enterprise technical architecture background.
- Experience with Service Now and TOGAF.
