Summary: The Enterprise Agile Coach will join the Lean-Agile Centre of Excellence to facilitate the transition to scaled agile practices within the organization. This role involves coaching, mentoring, and guiding teams to improve processes and enhance efficiency in software delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and extensive experience in agile methodologies, particularly in a leadership capacity. The position is a 6-month fixed-term contract with a hybrid working pattern based in Bournemouth, Dorset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate learning and development through one-on-one and team coaching and training.
  • Coach Journey Leadership in SAFe practices to ensure adoption of best practices from top-down.
  • Effectively communicate SAFe principles and practices across the organization.
  • Champion the use of metrics to drive continuous improvement across teams.
  • Maintain a fact-based perspective on issues and apply agile principles to understand root causes.

  • Strong leadership, education, and coaching abilities.
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills.
  • Emotional intelligence and understanding of impact on people and workflows.
  • Technical fluency in processes and workflows.
  • Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe SPC, CSM, ICAgile Certified Professional).
  • 5 years of experience as an Agile Coach in a software delivery environment.
  • Experience in Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe).
  • Ability to implement agile techniques in diverse cultures and environments.
  • Ability to connect with all levels of an organization.
  • IT-related undergraduate degree preferred.
