Summary: The English, Maths and Science Tutor role involves providing tailored 1:1 tuition to secondary-aged students who are currently out of school. Tutors will create and deliver customized lesson plans to address educational gaps and enhance student engagement and attainment. This role is part-time and community-based in Swindon, with a focus on supporting students until they can reintegrate into a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver bespoke 1:1 tuition in English, Maths, and Science to secondary-aged students.
• Create, plan, and implement tailored lesson plans to address educational gaps.
• Boost engagement and attainment levels for at-risk and vulnerable learners.
• Work flexibly within the community or at students' homes.
• Support students until they can reintegrate into a new school placement.

Key Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in UK classroom teaching.
• Creativity and patience in teaching methods.
• Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.
• Ability to think outside the box to enhance learning experiences.
