About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Engineering Lecturer to join our team at the Stretford Campus on a fixed-term basis from September/October through to January.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across a range of Engineering programmes, including:
- BTEC Level 3 Engineering
- HNC Level 4 Engineering Units
- Mechanical Engineering
- Engineering Mathematics
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across BTEC Level 3 and HNC Level 4 Engineering programmes.
- Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments in line with curriculum requirements.
- Support and monitor student progress, providing guidance and feedback to help learners achieve their potential.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and best teaching practices.
- Contribute to a positive learning environment that promotes student success and achievement.
Person Specification: The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant degree or higher qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience teaching Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Mathematics.
- Knowledge and experience of delivering BTEC Level 3 and/or HNC Level 4 Engineering qualifications.
- A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one, depending on organisational requirements).
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
