Job Description: Engineering Technician/Technologist-Delivery
Job Summary:
Engineering technicians work with explosive materials and associated hardware for use in the oil and gas industry. They are responsible for safely preparing, handling, and detonating explosives to achieve specific test objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of explosives safety protocols, and regulations.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Conduct testing.
• Explosive record keeping.
• Test data collection & documentation.
• Forklift operations.
• Crane operations.
• Pressure operations.
• Metal fabrication.
o Metal arc welding
o Cutting torch
o Plasma cutter
• Facilities & equipment maintenance
• Observes safe working practices, rules and regulations, wears PPE as required and correct and report hazards immediately.

• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
