Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the maintenance team.
- Attend both planned and reactive maintenance of food processing machinery.
- Provide support and guidance to engineers and the operations team.
- Offer support and guidance on breakdowns and provide backing when needed.
- Complete shift handovers, update breakdown boards, and create reports for effective transitions.
Key Skills:
- City & Guilds/Level 3 NVQ minimum in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience managing others in a fast-paced production environment, including performance management.
- Background in working with food or manufacturing environment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.

Location: Gloucestershire (Commutable from Gloucester, Worcester, Tewkesbury, Ledbury, Hereford and surrounding areas)
Package: £48,000 - £50,000 + Enhanced Overtime + Bonus
Shift: Monday - Friday (Double Days)
Zest have teamed up with a highly established manufacturing company. Due to a growth in the business, they are now looking to take on an experienced engineering team leader to manage the day-to-day operations on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with the engineering manager to lead and manage the day to day running of the maintenance team.
- Attend both planned and reactive maintenance of food processing machinery
- Provide support and guidance to engineers and the operations team
- Offer support and guidance on breakdowns and offering backing when needed.
- Complete shift handovers, update breakdown boards, and create reports for effective transitions
What We Are Looking For
- City & Guilds/Level 3 NVQ minimum in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience managing others in a fast-paced production environment, including performance management
