Engineering Release Specialist

Summary: The Engineering Release Specialist role is an 11-month contract position based in Gaydon, focusing on the timely release of Bills of Materials (BoM) from Product Engineering. The specialist will serve as a liaison between customers and suppliers, ensuring accurate part coding and supporting project timelines. The position requires extensive collaboration with Engineering and Manufacturing teams. Candidates must have valid eligibility to work in the UK and travel within the EU.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a timely and accurate BoM is released from Product Engineering to the wider internal and external business.
• Ensure parts are correctly coded to support scheduling and build.
• Provide focal point to customers and suppliers at commodity level.
• Liaise extensively with Engineering and Manufacturing customers and industry partners.
• Manage workload to support programme timing, key project dates, and departmental targets.

Key Skills:

• Dassault Systemes 3Dexperience / Bill of Material experience.
• Complex problem solving and logic skills.
• Self-motivated and driven.
• Excel proficient.
• Customer facing experience, ability to deal with multiple customers and balance incoming demands.
