The successful candidate will oversee the operations, maintenance, and optimisation of our client s steam and power generation facilities, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability.Key Responsibilities:Commercial Support: Collaborate with commercial teams on bids and tenders, providing technical and costing expertise to secure new business opportunities.Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of power generation facilities, including boilers and gas turbines, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.Maintenance Oversight: Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Performance Optimisation: Analyse operational data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reductions.Project Management: Manage capital projects related to power generation, including upgrades, retrofits, and new installations.Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and prepare detailed reports for senior management.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, clients, and external partners to ensure seamless operations and project execution.Qualifications:Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).Extensive experience in power generation, specifically with boilers and gas turbines.Proven track record in operations management and team leadership.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
