Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and standardized work instructions.
  • Build and Assemble rotor components including shafts, laminations, cores, windings, bearings, and housings according to engineering specifications.
  • Perform gas brazing and induction brazing of copper components, ensuring proper joint integrity, alignment, and quality standards.
  • Perform precision measurements using micrometres, callipers, dial indicators, and other inspection tools.
  • Balance and align rotors to ensure proper function, minimal vibration, and high performance.
  • Conduct in-process and final quality inspections to meet company and customer standards.
  • Identify and eliminate waste in the production process using Lean thinking principles.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, 5S activities, and team problem-solving efforts.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and adhere to safety procedures.
