Summary: The Engineering Manager role is a 12-month contract position focused on delivering Electrical Control Systems within the Nuclear team of a leading consultancy. The position requires managing a team of engineers and collaborating with project management and stakeholders to ensure project success. The role demands experience in regulated environments, particularly in nuclear settings, and requires active security clearance. This position is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering efforts on the project and serve as the main contact for all engineering matters.
• Ensure project quality, compliance, safety, budget, and schedule requirements are met.
• Oversee project design from initiation to handover.
• Liaison between Project Management and Technical teams.

Key Skills:

• Experience managing multi-disciplinary design packages in regulated environments (preferably nuclear).
• Background in electrical engineering / ECI & I, and ability to support electrical installation / test / commissioning activities.
• Ability to write technical specifications.
• Good people management skills – this includes in-house teams and external suppliers.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Able to deliver design within a Nuclear Site Licence, and experience working within commercial frameworks.
• Experience in working to requirements of CDM 2015.
• Active Security Clearance.
